Can I work from home?

The short answer to this question is ‘yes’. While you are establishing your business, home based or mobile services are initial options, but you need to be able to move into commercial premises within 24 months and be operating on a full-time basis.

This is not anywhere near as daunting, expensive or unattainable as some people set themselves up to believe and making this change overwhelmingly results in a significant difference to business outcomes and growth.

Home based or mobile servicing typically generates a small client base and allows practitioners to establish rapport with this base. It allows the refinement of work patterns and planning in preparation for larger scale business in a commercial environment.

Accountants electing to commence in a commercial office will always obtain faster growth and a more saleable business.

Flexible Approach

There are a number of different recruitment levels into a taxsmart® franchise with different aspects of support and supervision depending on the accountant’s qualifications.

This means that recruitment is open to both Non-Registered and Registered Tax Agents and also to applicants who have either fully or partially completed a suitable accounting qualification (providing they are prepared to continue studies to completion once they have joined taxsmart®).
